VRChat Avatar Works

When it comes to VRChat avatars I love both natural and boldly colored palettes, with a distinct focus on standing one foot into the cartoon and one foot into realism. My favorite designs are ones with vivid eyes, expressive faces and standout silhouettes. Touchable looking textures and the way light and shadow blends a creature into a world are as important to me as the patterns one has on their back.While I've played with 3D texturing and model creation on and off most of my life it's been the last few years I've really gotten into it- I'd consider Blender my primary tool for sculpting and Substance Painter my primary tool for texture work, though I will on occasion use other programs as well, too many to name.

Figurines and other Physical Work

I've painted tabletop miniatures for almost a decade now! While I've taken them to Gencon... once, I don't really do it for shows or other people unless it's for gifts. I primarily print these on my resin 3D printer (an Elegoo Saturn 2) but am also a big fan of Reaper Miniatures in general, especially the bones. All of the ones shown are ones printed by me from various STLs, except for the Kita'vali, which is the VRChat avatar!
While I have nothing against warhammer or the sort I don't paint armies, only singular figures intended for tabletop like D&D. I have done some skirmish things in the past (Malifaux <3) but that's not typically my zone.

COMMISSION TERMS OF SERVICE

Age Restriction and Refund Policy
You must be 18 years or older to order commissioned work from me. I reserve the right to reject a requested commission for any reason, and the right to reject a requested commission without giving explanation. Once a commission has been accepted refunds will only be allowed PRIOR TO work in progress being shown, once there has been proof of progress no refunds are allowed. If I (the artist) am unable to provide further work in progress within one full month (30 days) an exception will be made to the refund policy and payment will be returned upon request. Payment is required in full before work is begun, if a special request to hold a slot is accepted this will only be held for one full week to allow for payment before it will be opened back up. If a commissioner is found to have been dishonest in any way regarding the terms below the commission will be cancelled immediately and no refunds or files will be provided no matter the current state of progress. If there has been no communication in the last 7 days it is acceptable to ask for an updated estimation of time or preview even if unrelated to the 30 days progress policy, but not before.Edits to Commissioned Work
Paid, gifted, or self-done edit work to a commission immediately or in the future is fully allowed so long as it is not with intentions to bypass boundaries set in place by myself. Attribution must still be given to me as the original artist where appropriate even though it is not always necessary in standard use- if editing artist is credited, credit me as well.Deadlines and Public Reveal
Commissioning individual must be upfront about any deadlines (public appearances, planned debuts, etc) upon commission request. All deadlines MUST be further out than a month, unless special agreements have been directly made. Special agreements for sooner deadlines will incur additional payments at my discretion which will be stated to be agreed upon before request is officially accepted. If finished project is to be considered a surprise and must be kept private this will need to be declared upfront, if no declaration is made I will assume it is okay to speak on and show progress work publicly.Included Assets TOS and Use Licenses
Commission requests must not break the TOS of the assets required for the finished piece. If ANY asset in the finished piece has a more restrictive TOS than mine, the more restrictive rules will be considered applied to the entire project. For example, if an asset does not allow public avatar use you will not be allowed to set the finished commission as public. Commissioners must prove ownership of necessary assets prior to work being done using them. Commissioner is responsible for the full payment cost of any licenses I have not already purchased myself. Payment intended for asset costs will need to be sent separately upon discussion of commission acceptance, and will not be refunded if commission is cancelled by commissioner prior to started work. If the commission is cancelled by me or refunded due to 30 day WIP policy refunds will be provided for asset licenses as well as commission. License keys will not be accepted in lieu of direct payment for necessary assets unless the commissioner is the proven creator of the asset being used.Commercial Use
Direct profit cannot be made from finished commission work alone. Commercial use is allowed so long as what is sold encompasses more than the files given to the commissioner. As a brief example one can include a commissioned avatar texture as part of the avatar's release, or where needed as a streamer and/or mascot appearance. As well as this, finished work and associated files are allowed to be released freely barring any asset TOS restrictions. (Buttons/stickers/shirts as digital fandom merchandise, etc.)Adoptables and Character Auctions
If the rights to the depicted character are sold or auctioned the finished commission cannot be included unless 3 calendar months have passed. Auctioned or sold character rights cannot be based solely on finished commission work, they can only be included as part of a larger package of art and assets. Future edits of commissioned work are not allowed if the intentions are to change the character in order to have it sold as an 'adopt' or to raise the value of another character being placed for sale or auction.Intended and Unintended Platform Usage
Platforms may break or render the commissioned work inoperable with future updates. Avatar will be verified working and completed before commission is considered finished, but I do not guarantee function beyond the time of acceptance of finished work. Work may be uploaded to unintended platforms but function will not be guaranteed for anything beyond the originally agreed intention. I am not responsible for any extra work needed to be used on unintended platforms but am open to requests at time of commission for things that are required for use on these platforms, so long as it is understood that I am not familiar with them and cannot guarantee beyond what I am already accustomed to, and may turn down the secondary requests.NSFW Imagery and Subject Boundaries
NSFW imagery created with finished commissioned work is acceptable (barring any asset TOS restrictions) but I am not responsible for any rule breaking or account bans related to my work as this is fully the actions of the commissioner. It is assumed commissioner understands what content is generally considered bigoted, hateful, and/or immoral and will not be posting such things using commissioned work. If there are any questions regarding boundaries these can be freely asked and will receive a simple straightforward response without elaboration should the answer be that it is something I do not wish to be associated with. Messages sent to me regarding previous commissioners actions will not be responded to even if the actions cross my boundaries, as I reserve the right to decide my personal feelings privately and do not owe outside persons the conclusion to what is a private matter between me and the commissioner.Subjects that will not be allowed as part of commission requests include but are not limited to: underage character avatars even if sfw, diaper related even if intended for fully consenting adults, homophobia, transphobia, raceplay (such as queen of spades), nonfiction cults, noose imagery, nonfictional political stances, NFT or generative AI use, mockery based on another individual's character or brand appearance unless I receive explicit consent from said individual upon speaking to them privately

Current Pricing

Current listed prices are a baseline, for more complicated requests and time consuming features a higher price will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Baseline pricing may be adjusted in the future as I get accustomed to the time needed per commission, should this happen no more requests will be taken as current queue is finished before reopening.
 
If a closer look at my personal edited avatars is desired I will happily set up a scheduled time to meet with you in VRChat so that you can examine them in person, this is for serious inquiries only, you must have an idea of what you are wanting before requesting.

Fully custom avatars (ones that do not use a pre-existing base at all)
